While those are fine, usually, it's just not, well… CAKE.
And when you're celiac and have serious food allergies,
Even though the local bakeries can make either a gluten-free cake OR a vegan cake,
They usually can’t do BOTH. And most importantly,
Those bakeries aren't safe for us because they are contaminated with gluten and most allergens (especially nuts, dairy, soy, corn).
Rest assured: I GET IT, because I also have multiple food allergies (and celiac) —-I’ve been in your shoes!

CUSTOM CAKES
I love bringing thoughtful, beautiful cakes to life for celebrations. Over the years, I’ve found that the best way to balance creativity, quality, and efficiency is to focus on designs that work beautifully with buttercream and allergen-free ingredients.
A few important points about custom designs:
I work exclusively with buttercream. While I can occasionally add small fondant details, like bows or leaves, I do not cover cakes in fondant. When sending inspiration photos, it’s best to choose cakes that are covered in buttercream rather than fondant.
Color limitations: I primarily use natural pigments, fine-tuned with small amounts of food-safe dyes. Certain colors—like deep blacks or very dark blues—can vary and will never be exact.
Most clients choose from the designs I offer, which are tested, reliable, and visually appealing, but inspiration photos can be helpful if they match the buttercream style and feasibility described above.
I do not create designs that require extreme detail, heavy sculpting, or techniques that don’t align with allergen-free buttercream baking.
By setting these expectations, I can ensure that every cake is beautiful, safe, and delicious, while keeping the process efficient, stress-free, and enjoyable for both of us.
